New Forms of Exposure – Visit to Gozoop

As part of our ongoing system level work with the Children’s Aid Society (CAS), we recently collaborated with Mr. Tushar Bhilavekar, Superintendent of the Chembur Children’s Home (CCH), to bring a vital vision to life: expanding the children’s horizons through real-world exposure. With their Grade 10 (SSC) exams recently behind them, on 24 March 2026,  six students with a keen interest in technology and media stepped into the office of GoZoop, a premier digital marketing firm in Andheri. Our goal was simple yet profound: to show these young minds that career paths extend far beyond traditional trades taught at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).

Stepping Into the World of Digital Marketing

The day began with a warm welcome from GoZoop’s co-founder, Mr. Rohan Bhansali. He personally gave us an overview of the company and the various brands with which they work. Discussion at Gozoop

This was followed by a guided tour of their office by another team member, offering an inside look at the brands they build and the creative energy that fuels their office. The children witnessed firsthand how professionals in diverse departments from design to finance to strategy collaborate for months to produce a single advertisement.

Lessons Beyond the Screen

The highlight of the visit was a detailed interaction with senior leaders at the firm. The conversation moved beyond technical skills, focusing on the mindset required to thrive in a modern professional environment. Key takeaways for the children included:

  • Self-Directed Learning: The power of using platforms like YouTube and Coursera to master new skills at their own pace.
  • The Discipline of Focus: The importance of staying consistent and grounded in an increasingly distracted world.
  • The Journey to Mastery: Encouragement to identify their unique interests and commit to the long-term process of getting better every day.

Looking Ahead

The team at GoZoop went above and beyond, offering to curate a specialized learning list of video editing tutorials and expressing a desire to visit CCH to mentor more students. We wrapped up the day over snacks and a group photo, with the children and staff alike feeling a renewed sense of possibility.

This visit marks the beginning of a broader initiative. Moving forward, we will continue to organize exposure visits across various industries and public services, eventually inviting the children to suggest the destinations they are most curious to explore. By opening these doors, we aren’t just showing them a workplace. We are showing them a future they can build for themselves.
