Dongri ke Mastermind (Girls Section) – Dongri Ka Apna KBC

Event Date: 17th November 2025

Dongri Ke Mastermind once again. After the successful “Dongri Ke Mastermind” event in the Boys’ Section, we finally got the chance to conduct the same event in the Girls’ Section. The girls were extremely excited; I could clearly see their eagerness while setting up the program for their section. Sheetal had planned this event for the Girls’ Section much earlier, even before the Boys’ Section, but because of scheduling issues, we could not do it earlier.Today, as soon as the girls’ staff heard about the successful event held for the boys, they immediately arranged a slot in their schedule and confirmed the event.

The setup started, everything was arranged and we got ready. Amit prepared the digital setup and took charge of running the Kahoot quiz interface. After the success in the Boys’ Section, Amit was now fully confident and completely ready. The girls arrived, and the moment they came in, they excitedly and innocently said, “KBC! KBC! Didi, are we doing KBC? Will Amitabh Bachchan come here?” Their excitement doubled the energy of the room and boosted our own enthusiasm.

Everyone was ready, the girls and our team too. Sheetal gave an introduction and explained the rules. The teachers selected the teams and guided the girls to their places near the laptops. Sheetal gave each team 30 seconds to decide and announce their team name. There were three teams with three girls each. The names they chose were Star, 3 Star, and Power. This time, the responsibility of anchoring was given to me. The event was mainly handed over to Sheetal and me. It felt like Sheetal and Karan had decided that since it was the Girls’ Section, this event should showcase “Girl Power.”

Since it was my first time anchoring an event, I was very nervous. I gathered courage and started speaking, but after 4–5 questions, my nervousness became visible in my speech. To ensure the event ran smoothly and successfully, I requested Sheetal to take over. Sheetal stepped in again, and the event continued without any break. She read out the questions and options, while the quiz went on exactly as planned, with team questions and audience questions appearing on the screen one after another. Whenever a question seemed difficult, Sheetal and Puneet explained the topic clearly and gave additional information. Whenever all teams got the answer correct, loud claps filled the hall. The teachers were guiding the girls kindly and encouraging them. During the audience round, several girls would shout their answers. Sheetal would check which option had the most votes and tell Amit to lock that answer. The girls who got it correct were excited; the others stayed quiet but attentive.

The team questions were answered with complete focus and discipline. There was no disturbance, no misbehaviour, everything was happening beautifully. Soon, we reached the final question. Everyone selected their answers, and instead of showing the result immediately, Sheetal created suspense: “Now the result is coming… Are you all ready?” All the girls stared at the screen without blinking.

Finally, the results appeared

  • Star Team won Gold
  • 3 Star Team won Bronze
  • Power Team won Silver

Loud applause filled the room, and the atmosphere became joyful and full of energy. We decided to invite the Superintendent of the Girls’ Section to give the prizes. While waiting for her, Sheetal asked the girls from the teams and the audience about their experience.

The girls happily shared that:

  • They enjoyed it a lot
  • They learned many new things
  • It was a completely different experience
  • Their confidence increased

They had expected a very simple question – answer activity, but they were surprised to see how the event was executed, with laptops, projector, and a complete setup. You could clearly see from their faces that this experience was something very new and special for them. The girls were truly happy.

Soon, the Superintendent arrived. She asked the girls how they felt and listened to their experiences with a smile. She awarded the winning team, thanked Seedling Foundation, and explained how such events help in their education and personal development. She asked the girls, “Should we conduct this event again?” The girls answered with a loud and happy “Yes!”

Sheetal assured them that we would conduct an event like this once every month.
And with that, the event ended successfully.
